THE Red Arrows have been spotted flying over Herefordshire this morning.
The iconic planes were seen as they made their way from Exeter to RAF Shawbury in Shropshire for a display at the RAF Shawbury Families Day today (August 11), flying over the county at around 10.45am.
They will later be heading to RAF Valley in Anglesey for the base families day.
The world-renowned RAF display team will then head to RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.
The Red Arrows represent the speed, agility and precision of the RAF, it says.
The RAF also says that the Red Arrows, actually Hawk jets, help in recruiting to the Armed Forces, act as ambassadors for the UK and promote the best of British.
