A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on a key route in a Herefordshire village.
Emergency services have been called to the B4361 in Orleton, between Leominster and Ludlow, shortly after 1.30pm on Monday (August 15).
The air ambulance was among the services at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said, and one woman was airlifted to hospital with potentially serious injuries.

A spokesperson said the service was called at 1.37pm to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the B4361 in Orleton, at the junction with Kitchen Hill Road.
One ambulance, a paramedic officer, Mercia Accident Rescue Service Basics emergency doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.

There, they treated one patient, a woman, with potentially serious injuries and she has been airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.
West Mercia Police urged drivers to avoid the area as officers closed the road.
