A HEREFORDSHIRE councillor is stepping down just under a year after she was elected.
Tory Tessa McLean has confirmed that she is resigning the Old Gore seat to take up a career opportunity abroad.
Ms McLean won Old Gore for the council's controlling Tories at the local elections last year. She defeated the then council chairman John Edwards in what was her first election fight.
