This remarkable video captured the dramatic end of the heatwave in Herefordshire yesterday (Tuesday).
John Pullen was walking his dog through Credenhill Woods, near Hereford, when storm clouds started rolling in.
The heavens opened and there was a violent downpour of hailstones... in August!

"I thought, I'm definitely gonna get soaked and the dog will need a bath!" John joked.
Many places will start dry today (Tuesday), but heavy showers and thunderstorms will develop through the day, according to the Met Office.
There are likely to be slow-moving torrential downpours, with hail and flash flooding a possibility in places.
