A HEREFORDSHIRE pub has made it onto a national guide for its quality food.
The Bull's Head in Craswall has bagged a place in the Michelin Guide of 2022, which includes only the top restaurants from across the UK.
For six years the famous old pub was closed, a source of much unhappiness among local people and supporters from further afield. But back in November it re-opened its doors.
The guide said its new owners from the nearby Lower House Farm took it on, and with its flagstone floors, slate walls and open fires, it retains a simple, homely charm.

The kitchen team is led by Jake Townley of Wild by Nature, and they create a perfect marriage between the family farm at Longtown and the atmospheric pub, which has welcomed visitors for centuries.
Seasonal cooking is ingredient-led and full of flavour. Meat is a big part of what they do, with lamb, pork and beef reared using regenerative methods at their farm and butchered in-house. There is also home-made charcuterie and a Sunday Lunch, says the guide.
"Low-intervention wines feature alongside a fine selection of beers. Accommodation – in the form of lodges and huts – is planned soon," it says.

A spokesperson fpr the pub said: "We are absolutely delighted to find out that the Bull's Head has been included in the Michelin Guide for 2022.
"We are so incredibly grateful to our wonderful team for their hard work and dedication throughout our first year of opening, to all of our wonderful producers and, of course, to our lovely guests for choosing to support us."
