For all those looking to get out and about in Herefordshire today, here is a list of road closures and works to look out for.
- Overnight closures affecting the length of the M50 motorway from junction 4 at Ross-on-Wye to junction 1 for the M5. In place until 5.30am on September 13.
- Traffic control in place due to roadworks on Copper Beeches Close in Much Dewchurch.
- Road closure in force on Ladywell Lane in Kings Thorn from tomorrow until September 2.
- Roadworks in place on the A438 at Whitney on Wye until October 26. Expect delays in the area.
- Overnight lane closure on the A40 between Goodrich and Ross-on-Wye until September 10 due to road upgrading by Highways England.
- The A44 West Hill in Bromyard is shut until Friday Aug 26 for resurfacing works from the junction of Stonehill Drive to the junction with the A465 Hereford Road. Diversion signposted in the area.
- Roadworks still in place on the A438 in Lugwardine, near Hereford, due to the installation of a pedestrian crossing.
- The C1095 is closed near to Burghill Village Hall until Aug 25 due to gas works.
- Advanced warning of multiway traffic signals on Belmont Road near Hereford, near to the junction with Ruckhall Lane and the Callow Road towards Belmont Pool. In place from Aug 25 to Aug 29.
Apostles Lane, just off the A4111 near Kington, is partly closed until Aug 30 due to rural broadband installation.
