A DISABILITY rights campaigner from Hereford is back to travelling on trains, weeks after suffering "unprovoked" and "unjustified" abuse at the hands of a fellow passenger.
Cameron Wood is heading back to Birmingham on the train to see Les Miserables the musical at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
Mr Wood said he was left 'shocked and scared' by the incident earlier this month, where he was verbally abused and threatened, he said simply for being who he was.

During the incident, Mr Wood said he was called an obscene name several times and told to "uncross my legs and get out of my wheelchair and off the train so that he could fight me".
Mr Wood will be using a body cam mounted onto his wheelchair to capture anything that may occur during the journey if required.

He said that the incident has severally knocked his confidence when it comes to travelling independently on the railway network, and he hopes the camera will help bring this back.
Mr Wood said: "I’m incredibly scared because I’m not sure if anyone will abuse me or say anything on today’s journey.
"If I don’t do this the perpetrator has won by ensuring that I don’t get back on the train.
"I will not let anybody stop me from living my best life."
