A NEW café in a Herefordshire town has applied for a new sign on its recently refurbished building.
Coffee#1 opened a branch in Ross-on-Wye’s Market Place last month (July) and the outside of its building is currently painted green and has a white sign.
A recent planning application submitted to Herefordshire Council shows the café wants to make changes to its exterior.

It has applied for external alterations and consent to display an advertisement.
This includes three hanging signs on different areas of the building.
Also, another sign that will wrap around the three-storey building which will have warm white LEDs behind it to create a halo illumination.
Alterations to the building will include a replacement to the existing framed double doors with double glazed sapelle double doors, that will also receive a new Dulux paint finish.

Also, the application asks for a new half-moon double glazed panel with etched vinyl lettering.
The café has also asked to fit new double-glazed windows and more touches such as paint work to match Coffee#1 décor.
