A NUMBER of main roads in Herefordshire will close for 12 nights next month for roadworks.
Herefordshire Council said it would be closing roads around Fromes Hill, between Hereford and Worcester, for full resurfacing and other improvements.
It said the works would start on September 19 and should be completed within 12 nights.
The B4214 Bromyard to Ledbury road and A4103 Hereford to Worcester road would all be closed during the period.
Each of the four roads, either side of the junction, would be closed for eight nights, it said.
The diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally, a public notice said.
The closures would be needed due to the work and the likelihood of danger to the public.
The road from Ledbury to Bromyard has been criticised over recent months due to missing signage and a number of crashes.
Ward councillor Ellie Chowns said she has been campaigning for improvements to the junction.
