ORGANISERS of the Hereford Indie Food Festival 2022 have declared the event a success with an "incredible" turnout of visitors.
Returning at the weekend for the first time in five years, more than 7,000 people visited the festival, which was based at the Rule of Tum's restaurants in Aubrey Street, but spread into car parks and a side street.
Food businesses from across Herefordshire and were there, and there was music from acts such as DJ Trevor Nelson.
The day ticket prices were cut to £1 to make the festival more accessible to everyone.
In a statement, event organisers said: "The turnout for the first Hereford Indie Food Festival in five years was incredible and well over 7,000 people came down to the site for amazing food, music, makers, and produce."
