A DRIVER caused a crash in Hereford after running a red light.
Costel Prodan entered guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 35-year-old had driven a Nissan Qashqai without due care and attention on Ross Road in Hereford on December 5, failing to stop for a red light and crashing into a Ford Fiesta, causing the Fiesta to spin and hit a Mini Cooper.

He had also failed to stop after the crash, the court heard.
Prodan, of Waterfield Road, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work. He also received nine penalty points and must pay costs of £110 and a £95 victim surcharge.
