A BBC TV legend has officially opened a new Herefordshire care home.
Deer Park Care Home, in Martin's Way, Ledbury recently celebrated the opening, a few months after accepting its first residents.
Journalist, newsreader, documentary maker and presenter Angela Rippon CBE was on hand to unveil the commemorative plaque at the event on Friday, September 1.
Angela Rippon has been a regular on TV in this country since the early 70's, becoming the main news anchor for the BBC's flagship Nine o'clock News programme in 1975.

She appeared on the Morecambe and Wise Christmas Show in 1976, presented the first two series of popular motoring programme Top Gear and also presented Come Dancing.
Since 2009, she has co-presented the BBC consumer show Rip Off Britain with Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville and since 2013, she has co-hosted Holiday Hit Squad alongside Helen Skelton.
The home said everyone was thrilled to have Angela Rippon in attendance to help open the facility.
Home Manager Marie Wood said: "I was thrilled to welcome guests to our official opening here at Deer Park.
"I am so proud of our fantastic team who are dedicated to the care, comfort, and dignity of every single individual.
"We are really looking forward to hosting many future events here and welcome you to come and look around our beautiful home."
