Strictly Come Dancing star Arlene Phillips had her "world turned upside down" when a young member of her family was rushed to hospital.
The former BBC judge, who has a house near Leominster, reveals granddaughter Emme Bow fell ill with a virus although is thankfully now back home.
On social media, Ms Phillips wrote: "My world was turned upside down this week when my beautiful granddaughter was rushed into hospital and my daughter had no idea why she was rapidly losing weight and like a little rag doll.

"Fortunately the hospital identified what was wrong which was the result of a virus and now she’s home and really on the mend which has lifted my spirits enormously and I’m totally ready to get into my rehearsals for the House of Flamenka full of smiles."
Ms Phillips has continued to be a prominent face on TV since leaving the Strictly judging panel in 2009, when she was replaced by Alesha Dixon.
She recently guest starred as a judge on ITV's Dancing on Ice, following an appearance on primetime favourite I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! in 2021.
The reknowned choreographer recently became a patron of Hereford dance company 2Faced Dance.
Speaking of her appointment last year, Ms Phillips said: "2Faced are a wonderful dance company, creating extraordinary work and I am very much looking forward to my involvement with them."
