A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been remanded in custody ahead of his trial after denying an assault charge.
Luke Fenn was convicted of three offences when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 33-year-old had been arrested on August 23 in Leominster for breaking bail conditions imposed by Kidderminster magistrates on August 10.
He had also failed to comply with the terms of his community protection notice by entering Co-op in Leominster on August 21, and was in possession of a kitchen steak knife with a four-inch blade without good reason or lawful authority in Leominster's Dishley Street on August 23.

He had previously admitted stealing plants worth £40.99 from Philpotts Nursery in Leominster on August 8, stealing Strongbow worth £21 from Co-op in Leominster on August 8, stealing alcohol worth £72.05 from Co-op in Leominster on August 8, and failing to comply with his community protection notice by entering Co-op in Leominster on August 8.
He denied assaulting a woman in Leominster by beating on August 2 and 7.
Fenn, who is of no fixed address, was remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates next on October 3.
