A HEREFORDSHIRE town has marked the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the proclamation of King Charles III after an emotional three days.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral in Aberdeenshire on the afternoon of Thursday, September 8.
Councillors and staff at Leominster Town Council led the town's tributes with several shops and Leominster Priory Church showing their support.
A statement from Leominster mayor Trish Marsh said: "Our sincere condolences go to all Her Majesty The Queen’s family.

"In her long reign, spanning most of our lifetimes, the Queen’s dedication to her role has been remarkable, a steady presence through our nation’s many challenges and celebrations. We will miss her."
Books of condolence in the Leominster Tourist Information Centre and Leominster Priory Church were opened for people to leave their tributes and several bouquets of flowers were left at the southern door of the church.
Coun Marsh again led the tributes as Leominster marked the proclamation of new King Charles on Sunday, September 11.

Around 200 people packed into Corn Square to witness the historic occasion.
A rousing rendition of God Save the King was followed by town crier Richard Brookman leading three cheers for the new monarch.
This followed the principal proclamation of the new king, which took place at a meeting of the Accession Council at St. James Palace in London at 11am on Saturday, September 10 and following the county proclamation ceremony which took place hours earlier at Hereford Cathedral.
