A BURGLAR with an "appalling" record has been jailed after stealing a charity box from a Hereford business.
Jonathan Tisdale entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 48-year-old had burgled Herefordshire Fire Protection Services in Hereford's Mortimer Trading Estate by entering as a trespasser on August 30 and stealing a charity box.

Magistrates said Tisdale, of Gravel Hill, Ludlow, has an appalling record and has been recalled on another offence and jailed him for eight weeks. He must also pay compensation of £100 and
No costs order or victim surcharge was imposed in order to allow compensation to take priority.
