A MAN has died in a crash on a busy Herefordshire road overnight.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a van at the junction of the B4348 and Stone Street at 11.15pm.
"We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor from the Mercian Accident Rescue Service scheme and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care to the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one male patient, from the van, who was found in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff administered advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
