A POLICE road safety campaign has been updated after the number of collisions involving pedestrians and cyclists rose in 2007.
Last year one in five people killed in road traffic collisions in the West Mercia area were either pedestrians or cyclists.
This showed a significant increase from 2006 when it was one in six and as a result West Mercia's seven deadly sins campaign now includes pedestrian and cyclist safety.
It also continues to focus on the dangers of using mobile phones.
To find out more about the campaign please visit the community safety section of www.westmercia.police.uk.
