A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been banned from the roads after he was caught while more than twice the limit.
Wesley Downing was convicted of one offence by magistrates in Hereford after previously entering a not guilty plea at an earlier hearing.
The court heard the 36-year-old had been caught drink-driving in a Citroen Berlingo van in Ross-on-Wye's Tudorville Road on April 29.

An evidential breath test revealed he had 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Downing, of How Caple, Herefordshire, was disqualified from driving for 38 months, received a six-month community order, and was fined £810.
He must also pay costs of £620 and a £95 victim surcharge.
