THE streets of Hereford were empty today as people paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
Most businesses, shops, pubs, and cafés are shut as people were given a bank holiday on this day of national mourning.
The Queen's funeral was being televised across numerous channels from Westminster Abbey.

In Hereford at 10.30am, shortly before the funeral started at 11am, the streets were nearly empty as people stayed home or went to certain venues to watch it.
