A HEREFORD woman allowed a child to fall from a high chair, suck on a vape, and drink alcohol, a court has been told.
Sophie Tyler was convicted of four offences when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 19-year-old had wilfully ill-treated or exposed a child in a manner likely to cause them unnecessary suffering or injury to health by allowing them to fall from their high chair on two occasions on April 11.

She had also wilfully ill-treated or exposed the child in a manner likely to cause them unnecessary suffering or injury to health by allowing them to drink alcohol and to suck on a vape device on the same date.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out and Tyler, of Sherborne Close, Hereford, will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on October 11.
