A HOMELESS man has shared his thanks to a Herefordshire town after they worked together to stop him from "freezing".
George Smith, 19, was struggling to find food and accommodation in Bromyard when one woman came to his aid.
Amy M Bough shared a post on the Facebook page Bromyard Info asking people for their help and donations, and many offered what they could.
"I thank each and every one of you, for your kind words, funds, and items both new and second hand," she said.

He has also now had a haircut and ready for job searching on Monday.
"George is now in his own little flat, in Worcester, where he can start to get his life back on track with the help of me, social care workers and you guys," said Ms Bough.
"He has gone from having absolutely nothing, to wanting nothing and I couldn't have helped him, without the help from all of you."
Mr Smith was grateful to those who saved him from freezing.
"Thank you very much for your kind help. I was in a real bad place and feeling totally numb. If it wasn't for strangers like you and Amy and Jamie, I would still be on the street, freezing cold, wet, with nothing," he said.

"Thank you deeply."
Ms Bough has been able to help him due to being off work with and illness.
"It all seemed to happen at the right time," she said.
Now she wants to put a collection together for his birthday, which is at the end of October.
Ms Bough is the only one he has got as a close support network currently and she would like him to have a good birthday.
