A SEX offender has been up before the magistrates again after breaking his notification requirements by failing to tell police he had stayed at a house where a person under 18 lives.
Macaulay Stephens was convicted of one offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 27-year-old, who is a relevant sex offender under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, had failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements as set out in the act by failing to notify police that he had resided or stayed for at least 12 hours at a household or other private place where a person aged under 18 lives or stays within three days.
