A HEREFORD house which is in need of a complete refurbishment is the cheapest for sale in the county right now.
According to Zoopla, the average value of a terraced house in the city is £205,896 – significantly less than the UK average of £278,652.
OTHER NEWS:
But even that price for a Hereford home is around £9,000 more expensive than 12 months ago.
But a two-bed home in Moor Street, just off Edgar Street in the city centre, is for sale for £130,000 – and it has no onward chain.
This is the cheapest terraced house for sale on Zoopla right now, excluding shared ownership homes.
Agents at Jackson Property say on Zoopla that the two-bed home also has a garden, bathroom and reception room.
They say entering off the road via the front uPVC door into the lounge, there is a period fireplace surround, double glazed window and door to the kitchen.
The kitchen is a "basic" set up, having a sink unit with storage under, space for a cooker and a table. There is also storage under the stairs, a rear-facing window and doors to the staircase and rear lobby.
There is a door to the courtyard garden and door to the three-piece downstairs bathroom.
The first floor has a double bedroom and single bedroom, both having uPVC double-glazed windows.
Outside, there is a shared communal courtyard space, which agents say is typical of this age of build, two outside store rooms and a gate to the garden area with access out to the side, giving private rear access.
The home also has permit parking available through Herefordshire Council parking zone F.
