A DRAMATIC picture shows the wreckage of a car after it was hit by an unexpected animal on the Herefordshire border.
On the A4113, which is a long straight stretch between Leintwardine and Ludlow, a stag jumped out of the undergrowth and hit a car causing it to be written off.
It happened on Tuesday, September 27, at around 3pm after it appeared on the road.

The car recovery company said it had recovered another car in the same spot last week.
West Mercia Police was at the scene having received a report of a car crashing with a deer near Bromfield.
The driver was taken to Ludlow Community Hospital with a minor injury.
No other injuries were reported.
