A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been sentenced after a woman was injured in a quad bike crash.
Benjamin Porter appeared before magistrates in Worcester for sentencing after previously entering guilty pleas to charges of driving without due care and attention, failing to stop, failing to report a crash, and driving without insurance.
The court heard the 41-year-old had driven a quad bike in Pudlestone without due care and attention on February 19.
He had been involved in a crash in which a woman was caused personal injury on that date and failed to stop, magistrates were told. He also failed to report the crash to police as soon as was reasonably practicable or within 24 hours.

Porter, of Wellington, Herefordshire, was handed a 12-month community order with unpaid work and 10 penalty points. He was also fined £350 and must pay costs of £110 and a £95 victim surcharge.
