MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.

Luke Lewis-Jones entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Bath.

The court heard the 19-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a car in a 40 miles per hour variable speed limit on the M4 motorway in Gloucestershire on January 14.

Lewis Jones, of Plough Lane, Whitchurch, was fined £300 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Dorota Caplan entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 40-year-old BMW driver had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A451 at Great Witley on February 20.

Caplan, of Oak Close, Bromyard, was fined £309 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Steven William Edgington entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 64-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a Ford in a 60 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Ganarew on February 16.

Edgington, of Kingfisher Drive, Southam, was fined £40 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
