A MURDER victim has been named in court after a man appeared charged with killing him in a Herefordshire town.
Kestutis Lekunas, 35, appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster charged with murdering 39-year-old Nerijus Liukpetris in Ross-on-Wye on October 2.

He is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, namely Bluebell Close, Ross, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, namely a knife, on the same date.
Lekunas, of Bluebell Close, Ross, was remanded in custody ahead of his trial, will appear before Worcester Crown Court next for a preliminary hearing on October 5.
Police and paramedics had been called to the Herefordshire street at 9.30am on Sunday.
A police scene guard and cordon remained at the scene into this week.
