A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been sent for trial accused of child pornography offences and rape.
Thomas Gwilliam Carter appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in October accused of two charges of distributing an indecent image of a child and one of raping a girl under 13.
Prosecutor Mark Hambling told the court that 39-year-old Gwilliam Carter is accused of distributing indecent images, namely two videos of a child, in Leominster on or before October 1.

He is also accused of intentionally raping a girl under the age of 13, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Leominster on or before October 1.
Gwilliam Carter, who is of Caswell Road, Leominster, was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before Worcester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on October 31.
