A Herefordshire Farm Shop has been inundated with responses when it asked for suggestions for a new ice cream flavour.
Oakchurch Farm Shop at Staunton-on-Wye, on the Brecon road near Hereford, has been hand-making ice creams and sorbets for several years.
It uses fresh local ingredients, including freshly picked soft fruit from its own farm, for its multi-award-winning range.

From more than 500 flavour ideas, one stood out Oakchurch owner Nick Price said.
Victoria Covey from Pembridge came up with plum crumble and the shop was delighted to be able to use locally-grown plums from the Skittery farm in Ledbury in the recipe, he said.

The lucky winner dropped in at Oakchurch for a taste test and collect her £100 winner’s prize from Nick Price and ice cream maker Sindy Davey.
The outdoor ice cream shack at Oakchurch is now closed for the winter months but the homemade ice creams and sorbets are still available in take-home tubs in-store.
