ROADWORKS on a main road on the outskirts of a Herefordshire town could stop people getting to their homes and businesses.
The A449 Ledbury Road, near the Travellers Rest roundabout, Ross-on-Wye, will see a full road closure starting Monday, October 24 to Thursday, October 27.
Herefordshire Council’s roads contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places will be clearing verges and white lines will be re-painted.
The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night.

The fully signed diversion for non-motorway traffic will be via the A449 Old Gore, B4224 Upton Bishop, and B4221 Travellers Rest roundabout and vice versa.
Balfour Beatty said there may be periods of time when access to homes, businesses or other premises will not be possible or there may be delays.
Help and guidance can be found from designated marshals who are on site, said a spokesperson for Balfour Beatty.
Access will be open for the Premier Inn but as it is within the works area, there may be time when workers are lining across the junction or across the entrance to their car park and there will not be access for a short period while the paint sets.

Balfour Beatty said it has contacted the Travellers Rest directly about this.
The work may change in certain circumstances, such as bad weather, and this may happen at short notice, said the spokesperson.
All changes will be highlighted on the advance warning signs, which can be found onsite at the roadworks.
