MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.

Henry Hyde-Thomson, 68, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Bath.

The court heard Hyde-Thompson had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a car in a 70 miles per hour zone on the M4 in Gloucestershire on February 26.

Hyde-Thompson, of Albright Lane, Bromsberrow, was fined £146 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Stuart Lott, 42, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Toyota driver Lott had been caught breaking the limit in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig in Herefordshire on February 27.

Lott, who is of Aberfan Crescent, Merthyr Tydfil, was fined £440 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £44 victim surcharge.

Angus James Davison, 57, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Medway, Kent.

The court heard Davison had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of an Audi Q7 in a 30 miles per hour limit on the A274 Sutton Road in Maidstone on February 28.

Davison, of Falcon Lane, Ledbury, was fined £300 and received four penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
