POLICE have been out and about in Herefordshire stopping vehicles.
A spokesperson for Leominster police station said officers were working with animal welfare and civil enforcement officers from Herefordshire Council and officers from the problem solving team in the county yesterday (October 17).
Officers were stopping vehicles and checking for documentation and proof of ownership.
Police were also carrying out speed enforcement in some of the county's rural villages, including Luston, Kimbolton, Brampton Bryan, Aymestrey, and Kingsland.

"Most of the drivers we advised were local," the spokesperson said.
"Some on the school run or on their way home from work. Please slow down."
