A HEREFORD Thai restaurant is going nowhere as the building that houses it goes up for sale.
The owners of Hereford's Thai Garden in King Street said the restaurant will continue to operate as usual from Palace Chambers in the busy Hereford street.
The building, which was home to Wathens sweet shop and now houses the restaurant and a masseuse, was put on the market last week with agents Sunderlands for £395,000.
Previously we said The Thai Garden was for sale. This should have read Palace Chambers, which houses The Thai Garden, is for sale.
The restaurant's owners have confirmed that the sale of the building will not affect their business, which has built a strong reputation and customer base over the years, and that they will be continuing to operate from Palace Chambers.
"The Thai Garden itself is not closing or for sale," they said.
"We have worked very hard through Covid and the lockdowns, and have no intention of selling it. It is not on the market!"
