AN ACCUSED man has denied threatening to set fire to a dog and a tent in a Herefordshire town.
Robert Lane denied one charge of making a threat to damage or destroy property when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 45-year-old is accused of, without lawful excuse, threatening a woman that a dog and a tent belonging to her would be set alight, intending that she would fear that the threat would be carried out, in Ross-on-Wye on May 14.
