PEDESTRIANISING Broad Street, King Street and Bridge Street, Hereford, is such a bad and unnecessary idea (Hereford Times, October 13).
Why do it? The short-stay parking spaces on these streets are in constant use by people using the shops and services, often by not-so-mobile elderly people (like me).

Park and totter into the dentist. Easy.
Who actually wants this?
