A cat has lost an eye in circumstances that suggest it may have been shot.
Police are investigating after the incident, which happened last week on a trail path near Oatley’s Terrace, Ledbury.
Police are describing it as a "wicked act of cruelty" and are asking anyone who may have information to get in touch.
“A ball bearing was recovered during the operation and police are appealing for any information,” said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.
