A MAN was killed in a crash between a van and a lorry on a Herefordshire road.
He had serious injuries after the crash on the A44 in Eardisland, near Leominster.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident on the Legions Cross Road in at 10.30am and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Midland Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
Despite the best efforts of crews, the van driver died at the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival crews discovered the driver of the van in a critical condition.
“Crews immediately began administering advanced life support to him.
“Unfortunately, despite their best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him, and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The driver of the lorry was assessed and did not require treatment.”
