A FIRE investigation is underway after a fire broke out at a house in Knighton.
The blaze at a property in Llanfairwaterdine broke out at around 11am on Thursday (November 3) morning and saw firefighters from Shropshire and Mid Wales in attendance.
Crews from Bishops Castle sent three appliances, plus operations and fire investigation officers.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Fire located in first-floor bedroom. Four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets in use.
"Assistance from Mid and West Wales Fire Service. Fire investigation being carried out."
They confirmed crews used breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet.
A stop call to say no other crews were needed was received shortly before 1pm.
