A WOMAN has suffered life-threatening injuries in an early-hours crash in Herefordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the crash on the A438 between Trumpet and Ledbury at 1.45am, a spokesperson said.

They sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic, a BASICS emergency doctor and the Midland Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival crews discovered three patients.

“The first was a woman who had sustained life-threatening injuries.
“She received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene and treatment continued en route to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
“The second and third, who were passengers in the vehicle had sustained non-life threatening injuries. Both men received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene.
“They were conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.”
