A BOXING gym has been left with damage to its building after a “freak accident”.
City of Hereford Boxing Academy suddenly closed on Tuesday (November 8) after a car crashed into the front of its unit in Harrow Road.
“It was a bit of a freak accident” when the car crashed, said a spokesperson.
It was unknown at the time how bad the damage was, so classes were cancelled.

But yesterday (November 9) a spokesperson said they were “very pleased and relieved” to open the gym doors again for its evening sessions.
“Thank you no one was injured, and the gym was closed at the time,” said the spokesperson.
“We’ve had the building assessed today by a structural engineer who has given us the all clear to open back up while we wait for the damages to be repaired.”
