A HEREFORDSHIRE wedding venue which used to be a school has made it into the top two wedding venues in the UK for the second year in a row.
Hitched, the UK's largest wedding website, announced the UK Top 10 Most Popular Wedding Venues 2022 earlier this month.
Despite being a reasonably new wedding venue, only opening in June 2019, last year the Bredenbury Court Barns team, and supporting local businesses, were delighted to learn that it had won the accolade of the UK's Most Popular Wedding venue 2021.
Hitched has now placed the venue in Bredenbury, near Bromyard, in second place for 2022.

Although the hospitality industry has endured the most challenging of times, the Bredenbury team has been solely focused of delivering a fabulous service to its couples and guests, said managing director Simon Steel.
"The award is a testament to our wonderful couples, their guests, lovely reviews and our down to earth, professional wedding team behind it all," said Mr Steel.
"Every member of the team genuinely cares about what we do and the privilege of being involved in a couple's wedding day – to have this reflected in such an accolade is truly touching.
"We truly are bowled over that our Bredenbury Court Barns wedding venue is so highly rated – thank you all".

The estate, set in 29 acres of land and a Grade II listed building, was previously home to St Richard's school.
For 94 years, students filled the rooms that are now used for happy couples to tie the knot.
Now the combination of a barn wedding venue that includes a 1920s orangery and charming old manor house at the same location, coupled with stunning long ranging views over rolling Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire countryside is what makes the venue so popular, he said.
Bredenbury Court Barns, which was St Richard's School before being turned into a wedding venue, also only operates on an exclusive basis and the whole estate, the parkland, fields, and woodland glade are all included for the day.
The independent day and boarding school had more than 100 three-to-13-year-old pupils on its books when it closed.
The school said at the time it was closing due to a drop in pupil numbers.
It also has on site accommodation for couples and guests.
"Every member of the Bredenbury Court Barns' wedding team cares about making a wedding day the best day ever," said Mr Steel.
"The team genuinely care and are awesome."
When breakfast is served to couples and wedding guests the following morning, guests consistently say what a great celebration and what fun they had at the barns, said head of housekeeping Elisa Clarke.
"It really is lovely to have such feedback - even when some guests are feeling a little ropey."
The venue received ongoing support from the local community, wedding couples and guests, said Mr Steel.
