A HEREFORDSHIRE pair have been fined by magistrates for causing rubbish to be dumped on a caravan park.
Harriet Thompson and Cornelius Biddle each entered a guilty plea to one charge of causing the deposition of controlled waste without an environmental permit when they appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard 27-year-old Thompson and 34-year-old Biddle had knowingly caused the dumping of controlled waste, namely household waste collected from an address in Kington's Hatton Gardens in or on land at Turnpike Travellers Site in Pembridge without the authority of a waste management permit issued under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 on July 7, 2021.
Thompson, who is of Hill View, Leominster, was fined £200 for the offence. She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £150 and a £34 victim surcharge.
Biddle, also of Hill View, Leominster, was also fined £200 and must pay prosecution costs of £150 and a £34 victim surcharge.
