RICHARD HAMMOND is set to host a Herefordshire town's Christmas lights switch on.
The former Top Gear presenter is just one of the event's star attractions, with Hereford's Beefy Boys among 70 stalls also due to make an appearance at the event.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council is gearing up for what promises to be the biggest Christmas Fayre event to date, which takes place next Sunday November 27.
An array of local businesses will be running stalls in Ross town centre between 11am and 5pm, selling an array of wonderful gift ideas for family and friends, a succulent selection of food and drink, alongside a Santa's Grotto, and live music.

Another special guest will also make an appearance; the lean, mean, Christmas hating machine; the Grinch will be causing mayhem on the day.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council are delighted to announce that TV presenter and local resident, Richard Hammond, will be turning on the Christmas lights at 4.30pm.
Hammond has lived near Ross-on-Wye for over 10 years and is a popular TV presenter on shows such as The Grand Tour and Richard Hammond's workshop.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council looks forward to welcoming everyone to the event, said a spokesperson.
