POLICE are warning people who live near Hereford of a man knocking on doors and trying to sell people pictures of houses.
West Mercia Police said it had had several calls over recent days about the "suspicious" man going door to door selling aerial photographs of people’s property in the Moreton-on-Lugg and Marden areas.

PCSO Adan Westlake said that although the man hasn't broken any laws, he had "unnerved some people in relation to his attitude".
He said: "The male has been spoken to. He is likely to still operate in the area."

Police advice is to say "no thank you – please leave" and then immediately close the door if traders come to people's doors unexpectedly.

If the trader won't go away, police say homeowners should say they will call Trading Standards.
"If you feel under real threat or in danger, you should contact the police on 101 or if it is an emergency dial 999," PCSO Westlake added.
