A KEEN photographer from Herefordshire has captured amazing pictures of parachutes at Shobdon Airfield, near Leominster.
Tom Pennington enjoyed a sunny afternoon at the airfield this week where he saw the Short SC.7 Skyvan take off and drop the small group of parachutists over the north Herefordshire countryside.
While it's not clear who the parachutists were, they made the solo descent.

NOTAMs, also known as notices to airmen, showed there would be parachuting over the airfield for Tuesday to Thursday of this week.
It said that the action would be within 12 nautical miles of the airfield, which is just under 14 miles.
The pictures from Mr Pennington, who is a member of the Hereford Times Camera Club Facebook group, showed the four people landing on the grass at the airfield.
The plane they jumped out of was from Canadian firm Summit, with the company operating scheduled, chartered and cargo aviation.

When the Skyvan made its debut in the UK in 2015, the firm said the plane was the "ultimate aircraft for cargo transport".
It said that with a payload of up to 4,500lbs, it can transport "almost anything" and the large freight area can also accommodate up to nine passengers.

Keen photographers, like Mr Pennington, and planespotters regularly head to the airfield with a café on site and other facilities for visitors.
There is even a Facebook group where enthusiasts can discuss goings on at the airfield, which is open from 9am until 5pm seven days a week.
