A HEREFORDSHIRE property underwent a big refurbishment after it was transformed from a school into a wedding venue.
Bredenbury Court was taken on by current owner Simon Steel, but before he could host it as a venue there was a lot of work to be done.
The estate, set in 29 acres of land and a Grade II listed building, was previously home to St Richard's school.
For 94 years, students filled the rooms that are now used for happy couples to tie the knot.

The school closed in July of 2016 and was bought by owner of Bredenbury Court Simon Steel, who renovated the property into a wedding venue.
The independent day and boarding school, which had just over 100 three-to-13-year-old pupils on its books, previously said a drop in pupil numbers had led to the decision.
A whole new building went up for the receptions and ceremonies, while the main building remained.
The building has a wooden frame and beams to give it a country rustic feel for happy couples.

Mr Steel managed most of the build and renovation himself, from initially designing the entire site, to project managing.
Some oak frame was in place in April 2018, and he showed couples round with hard hats on! Clearly assisted by an awesome team.
"There are some great twists of history also as Bredenbury Court was actually a wedding gift itself a few centuries back and was more recently in 1875 hosting parties starting at 9pm and going onto 5am in the morning," said Mr Steel.
"So, there is a great and rich history and I rather like the idea of Bredenbury Court once more 150 years later, again providing happiness and hospitality for its guests."
He hopes to draw an even broader number of people to Bredenbury and the Bromyard area in the future, to grow as a direct local employer and supporting local businesses.
"There is a very exciting future ahead for Bredenbury Court," said Mr Steel.
