HALO’S sports facilities are suffering from a massive increase in the cost of energy while having to cope with the drop in attendance as a result of the Covid restrictions.
This will lead to less income and higher expenditure. Some of the shortfall will be made up by increased fees for users.

However, I am mystified that there is no recourse to commercial sources of income.
The walls of the centres have motivational posters, which cost money to make, and nothing else.
I would have thought that they were prime real estate for sponsorship publicity or for advertising.

Income revenue from these sources would be really helpful in these difficult times. I do hope these strategies will be considered and that the facilities will continue to be a valuable asset to the health of our county.
