FLOOD alerts remain in force for Herefordshire this morning after heavy rain hit the county yesterday (November 24).
A Met Office weather warning for wind and rain was in force for the county yesterday, with flooding hitting roads across Herefordshire as the heavens opened.
Affected roads included the Asda roundabout in Hereford, which flooded yesterday afternoon.

Flood alerts
Flood alerts remain in force today for the following areas:
River Wye in Herefordshire
*Now removed as river levels have fallen below the flood risk threshold*
Flooding of roads and farmland is expected between 6am and 2pm today from Hay on Wye to Ross on Wye, the Environment Agency said.
Other locations that may be affected include the A438, Byford, Bredwardine and Hereford.
The river is expected to peak at the Old Wye Bridge in Hereford at 3.0m to 3.4m Friday morning, Mordiford 3.4m to 3.7m Friday afternoon, Ross on Wye 3.3m to 3.6m Friday evening.
River Lugg south of Leominster
The Environment Agency said flooding is expected to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the river Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.
River Leadon catchment
The Environment Agency said flooding is expected to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Leadon. Locations that may be affected include Ledbury, Much Marcle, Staunton and Tibberton. Water may be out of bank at Upleadon Court.
Weather
The Met Office said brighter weather is on the way today, with a cool and bright start to a mostly dry day, and a maximum temperature of 12 °C.
Conditions will remain dry tonight, with some mist and fog patches forming during the evening. A rural grass frost is possible, with a minimum temperature of 2 °C.
Heavy rain is set to make a return to the area on Saturday, with wet weather moving in after a cool and bright start.
