A HEREFORDSHIRE school is delighted after its first Ofsted inspection in 13 years.
Until November 2020, Staunton-on-Wye Endowed Primary School was exempt by law from routine inspection, so there has been a longer gap than usual between inspections.
Judgements in the report published on November 22 are based on the current inspection framework and reflect changes that may have happened at any point since the last inspection.
The school was praised for many elements and received a good rating.

Staff sow the seeds here for the behaviour and learning traits that thread through school life, said the report.
Staff also nurture and challenge in equal measure, as a result, pupils become independent and inquisitive learners.
As the school’s new Headteacher, Mrs Davies would like to thank all the staff, parents and carers, pupils, and governors for their incredible support.
“I look forward to working with the whole community to truly embrace the next chapter of Staunton school’s journey,” she said.
“Visits from prospective parents and carers are always welcome - please contact the school for more information.”
